Weekend Snapshots

This weekend was one of the first I was actually in Charleston (actually now that I think about it, it was the first I’ve been here since moving back).

Friday, I went to Live on the Levee, a free live concert at Haadad Riverfront Park in Charleston held every Friday in the summer:

I have to admit, this photo is 'borrowed' from a coworker. But I will give him TOTAL photo credit and suggest you follow him on Instagram @iamwv

Saturday, I had my first pool trip of the summer to Waves of Fun in Hurricane, WV:

I have been wanting a military-inspired vest for awhile now, and I found this one in Target, and am so glad Kailyn encouraged me to “just buy it” because it’s a very versatile piece and I will be able to wear it year-round:

Sunday, my dad unfortunately had to fly on Father’s Day (don’t worry, I still gave him an awesome shirt!) but I was able to go to dinner with my mom an grandfather:

I recently ordered several maxi dresses from Old Navy, because they carry petite sizes, and decided to wear this cap-sleeved dress for dinner:

This week has me feeling exhausted, for no particular reason, but I’m pushing through! Monday, I had an evening meeting so I went with not-super-dressy neutrals:

Today has been rainy and dreary all day, so I decided to try out my new colored pants from Gap to brighten my day:
