Frugal Fashionista: Fab Finds of the Week – Gabes & Gap

This week and last, I made trips to both Gabriel Brothers (in Kanawha City in Charletson) and Gap in the Town Center Mall.

If you know me, you know I’ve always been a huge fan on Gabes. Some of my favorite pairs of J.Brand jeans I purchased there for just $20. I also find Express clothing there for inexpensive prices, too. It’s important to keep in mind that you have you give yourself time to ‘dig’ at Gabes. On the surface, it may look like a cluttered store with nothing worth buying, but IT ISN’T,Β I promise!!

Here are some of my finds from this week:

I was excited to find this pretty blue versatile dress - I can wear it with my cowgirl boots or with flat sandals or wedges. It was just $12.99!

Got this very cute quilted bag for just $1!

I'm not huge into the high-low trend, so I haven't decided how I'm going to style this dress yet, but it definitely needs a belt. I couldn't pass it up - I love the color and it was $7.

When I first picked up this bodycon skirt, I thought 'there is NO way this is going on my body, but what the hell I'll try it anyway.' I'm glad I did because it was insanely inexpensive AND fit like a glove.

This sheath dress is from The Limited and was a STEAL for approx $12. The detail shown here is the back, the front is plain black. It was missing a belt, but I rarely use the belt that comes with a dress anyway.

I ventured to The Gap, 30 percent off coupon in hand, earlier this week in search of a second pair of their skinny cigarette pants (I could seriously wear them EVERY. DAY.). I notice that they had a rack of shoes with a ‘SALE’ sign, and was thrilled to see they were marked down to just $15/ea. (original tag said $50). I quickly grabbed two pair, and took them to the register – only to find out they were just $7 (so, naturally, I had to grab a third pair):

Possibly the best deal I've ever gotten from Gap.

Yesterday, I styled one of my new pairs of loafers with army green pants:
