Recipe of the Week: Grilled Shrimp & Scallop Skewers

I’ve been craving shrimp and scallops for weeks, so I finally decided to make them this week. I found the recipe below on Pinterest:


  • 30 Large Shrimps, peeled and deveined -(you can use frozen)
  • 30 Sea Scallops
  • 1/2 cup of Smart Butter or Olive Oil
  • 6 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 6 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh black pepper
  • 5 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce ( Lea & Perrins)
  • wooden 8″ kabob sticks

1. Soak wooden kabobs in water for approx. an hour: 


2. Combine ingredients for marinate  in a large bowl:


3. Put shrimp in scallops in a gallon-size storage bag, and pour in marinate. Let marinate for approx. an hour.

4. Drain and discard the marinate:


5. Begin threading shrimp and scallops:

IMG_17626. Place on grill for 5-7 mins on each side. Cook until shrimp turns pink.
