Thankfully, the weather this week has been SO much less humid than over the weekend. Seriously, it has turned into the perfect Summer weather, I’m in pure heaven. When I’m not wearing one of my favorite flowy dresses, I always reach for an easy linen blouse and my favorite white jeans or shorts.
This time of year, I love stocking up on easy, affordable blouses like this one. Linen is super breathable and the stripes are perfectly on trend. Added my favorite blush drop earrings and BAM summer outfit perfection. For me, it’s perfect for my casual office.

As always, Happy Friday. Something about holiday weeks always seem to drag on, don’t you think?
Last weekend and this week were spent exploring Cincy and hanging out with friends. Anyway, let’s get to it:

You GUYS! We made it through yet another week. It’s been chilly here in Cincy, but it’s warming up this weekend and I’m super excited for my weekend plans:
- Namas-DEY – Fellow Threadie Elise and I are heading to the Bengals stadium for a little Saturday morning yoga. While I’ll always be #SteelerzfoLyfe, I’m excited to get outside and be active in a unique setting.
- 50 West Canoe and Kayak / Sand Volleyball – Seriously, if you live in the Nati and haven’t done this, you’re totally missing out. Seeing a trend here? Lots of outdoor activities, but I’m really trying to get out and be active this Summer. I play sand volleyball weekly, but I’ve been itching to play more frequently and I’m super lucky to have a group of friends who loves it as much as I do.

Last week, I shared the perfect dress to scoop up for all those Summer weddings and this week I’m back again with Monkee’s of Madiera again with the a pop of color that’ll be perfect to wear everyday this Summer.
I actually ended up taking home these white skinnies – they’re uber comfortable and the raw hem on the bottom is on-trend. Complete the look with your favorite Ray-Bans and these strappy gold wedges and BAM – an easy warm-weather look.
Don’t forget, the ladies of Thread and I are hosting a sip & shop on June 23rd! Come have a drink with us and pick up some of these seriously good Summer pieces!
A couple weeks ago, I was so excited to ‘model’ at the Kenwood Country Club’s Ladies Spring Fling with fellow Threadies Chelsea of Closet Full of Cocktails and Kayla of The Professional Prep. At the event, we wore looks from Monkee’s of Madiera.
Monkee’s is a franchise of clothing boutiques carrying upscale designers and brands like Lilly Pulitzer, Jack Rogers and Draper James.
This is my first of two looks I wore for the event, and let me tell you, I was so obsessed with this dress I was very very close to bringing it home with me. Unfortunately, it was a little out of my price range at the time (#ballinonabudget). It’s uber flattering and perfectly neutral for all those Summer weddings you know you’ll be attending this year!
We shot these looks while we were modeling, and it was a super humid day. #RIPmyhair – I had really cute curls at the beginning of the day, but they quickly fell and my fine hair ended up completely flat against my head. Ugh.
The ladies of Thread and I are hosting a Sip & Shop with Monkee’s on Friday, June 23rd. We’d love to have you there for cocktails and shopping plus mingling with the local blogging community! Plus, they’ll be offering 25% off your purchase! RSVP here.

Do ya’ll remember that tsunami-esque thunderstorm we had a couple of weeks ago? Not exactly the ideal day for Spring shopping, amiright?!
The ladies of Thread and I surely didn’t let that stop us from hunting down Spring wardrobe goodies. And let me tell you, we found some really good stuff.
My personal favorite find was this little red dress from J.Crew Factory. When I’m shopping for a new season, I always try to picture at least three ways I’d style something if I were to purchase it. I can see this little number with wedges, flat sandals or with pumps. Needless to say, this baby is going to be a Spring and Summer staple in my closet.
Throughout this week, I’m going to be sharing the rest of my outlet finds with you AND the ladies of Thread and I will be giving away THREE gift cards to the Cincinnati Premium Outlets – one for $125, $75 and $50, so you can take advantage of the killer deals at CPO too!

Before the holidays, the awesome ladies at LuxeRedux Bridal in Cincy invited me over to their boutique to play a little dress up and check out their space. Despite the fact that I’m already married and had a beautiful wedding dress, I happily obliged.
Visiting LuxeRedux is like going to a sample sale, but all the time. They get designer dresses at discounted prices. I certainly wish I’d known about this dreamy shop when I was searching for my perfect dress. They’ve got three locations – Cincy, Indianapolis and Columbus. Engaged friends – you’ve GOT to check this place out.
Finally trying on a Jenny Packham gown.. I was obsessed.
As if the prices couldn’t get any more enticing, LuxeRedux is having a sample sale THIS SUNDAY, January 29th from 11a-3p!
PLEASE let me know if you head over to the sale and let me know what you find!
A few weeks ago, fellow Threadie Tamia of The Style Sample came over for a little brunch and styling a new-to-me brand – Lucky Kat.
Something about winter always makes me want to be in full-on hibernation mode, so cozy but chic pieces are absolutely the way to go. I was instantly drawn to Lucky Kat – their affordable boho pieces are super stylish and fun to wear. I was absolutely loving this bell-sleeve sweater.
Ya’ll have got to head to shopluckykat.com to check out all of their 2017 new arrivals!
One of the biggest goals of Thread is to promote local businesses, which is why I love being a member. You might remember a couple of weeks ago when the ladies of Thread and I headed to Finery Boutique for a fun photo shoot. I loved it so much I ended up renting this LBD for an upcoming wedding.
I fell in love with quite a few dresses including this gorgeous blue number that would be perfect for New Year’s Eve. I have to mention again that I LOVE how you can try on dresses before you rent them!? Seriously, when was the last time you wore a New Year’s Eve dress twice? I sure haven’t.
If you’re still looking for something to wear for New Year’s Eve, Finery is offering 30% off all dress rentals this week AND will be open for expanded hours:
Tues: 4-8pm, Wed: 12-5pm, Fri: 11-6pm, Sat: 11-4pm
Dress: Finery // Heels: ShoeDazzle (last year – VERY similar here, under $200 here) // Lip: NARS ‘Rikugien’
